While the right sit on their thumbs and spin (how many areas\times have I heard the “excuse” given “Oh, that could NEVER happen (here)”?), the Left just wait until they die off and the # of those taught, let alone RETAIN, an ideal of Freedom\Liberty dwindle [the (grand)kids don’t want those ‘mean, nasty, DANGEROUS weapons in their home(s)].
Then, when the simple majority shifts, they spring into action. Oh, there will a great gnashing of teeth when it comes, but that’ll be all.
