When a democrat says “take on the NRA” thry mean “take on the Second Amendment”. I guess the ACLU skips that amendment when they choose which ones to defend.
From what I’ve read only 23 or so people out of 1.2 million gun owners have. If the (D)’s really want to see a revolt they should attempt to try it here.

It is an interesting contrast of beliefs;
-Liberals want to capture a mass shooter and give him room and board for the rest of his life, and disarm everyone else who was not involved.
-conservatives want, if the shooter survives, to publically hang the mass killer in public, by piano wire, as an example.
Why is it so wrong today to want retribution and justice as a, and in the form of a deterrent? And don’t tell me the left doesn’t believe in capital punishment. They have eliminated their adversaries with industrial efficiency in the USSR, Red China, and Cambodia to just name three.
They also cheered when Ferdinand Marcos registered and confiscated guns in the Philippines back in the early 1970. They wanted the US to do the same thing.

I feel sorry for New Zealanders as they are proving to be sheep, led by a dictatorial government. Then again, maybe not, as other reports posted on FR earlier today say only 37 of million-plus guns have been turned in.
Maybe the current New Zealand government will shortly find their days in office numbered?
New Zealanders should be asking why they cannot be allowed to defend themselves when it appears the police took 17 minutes to respond. Granted, no member of the Islamic cult should be allowed firearms, but surely others might have been nearby and quicker to put a stop to the killing than what occurred.
Try it here. I’m old. If a confiscator doesn’t live up to his role I will invoke the 2nd Amendment as my defense.
