It’s so obvious that any dem politician that spouts the party line of “nobody’s coming for your guns” is losing political credibility because it’s obvious they’re blatantly lying. They’d be better off just saying nothing instead of such an obvious lie.

And the NRA has been complicit in setting up The Swamp to think they’d just stand aside when the going gets tough because they didn’t oppose the bumpstock BS so it’s fallen to GOA and an individual in UT to take it into the courts. As for me, I see no utility in the novelty and have never owned one. That still doesn’t give me authority to restrict the freedom of another person who wants one when it violates no law (as the BATFE recognized under the Obama admin). Taking freedom away from the law-abiding due to the actions of law-breakers is not part of what this country was founded to be.
Do you think politicians who want to confiscate our self-defense tools understand at some level they will be the target at some point for attempting to take our God-given natural rights? The pendulum swings both ways.
America is not a safe place to live and it’s getting worse daily as more illegals and Muslims get through our bad immigration system. We will be needing those tools far more than we do today and we really need them now.

When a democrat says “take on the NRA” thry mean “take on the Second Amendment”. I guess the ACLU skips that amendment when they choose which ones to defend.
From what I’ve read only 23 or so people out of 1.2 million gun owners have. If the (D)’s really want to see a revolt they should attempt to try it here.
Many US politicians are dumber than dumb.
It is an interesting contrast of beliefs;
-Liberals want to capture a mass shooter and give him room and board for the rest of his life, and disarm everyone else who was not involved.
-conservatives want, if the shooter survives, to publically hang the mass killer in public, by piano wire, as an example.
Why is it so wrong today to want retribution and justice as a, and in the form of a deterrent? And don’t tell me the left doesn’t believe in capital punishment. They have eliminated their adversaries with industrial efficiency in the USSR, Red China, and Cambodia to just name three.
They also cheered when Ferdinand Marcos registered and confiscated guns in the Philippines back in the early 1970. They wanted the US to do the same thing.
Then Marcos seized power and the news media went into hysterics.
I still remember 1962, and the first call for handgun registration, and the words “Long guns will not be affected!”
Back in 1981, actress Lee Grant, on Good Morning America, poked holes in the air and yelled...”THE NRA IS A RIFLE ORGANIZATION! THEY SHOULD GIVE UP THEIR HANDGUNS AND THEY CAN KEEP THEIR RIFLES!”
