I give some thoughts about Unplanned, and why everyone should see this film.

I saw it last night.

Spoiler Alert:

The same critics who rave about the odious ode to the abominably notorious rbg (lower case deliberate), which is a flaming preachment to their hellish choir, call this movie a poorly-done preaching to a select, extreme, and paltry choir.

The acting, scripting, and directing are perfectly adequate. It is in truth a docu-drama based in fact, not a fantasy concocted by a deranged fanatic.

Life imitates art: Just as I would have known it in a fictional story, I knew when the main character, from a pro-life family background, was open to supporting Planned Parenthood, that she had already secretly had an abortion, and was seeking justification for her choice. (In fact, she had had two.)

This true story is quite remarkable, and the telling is not melodramatic (merely dramatic - since it is literally about life and death).

Mike Lindell (My Pillow), who has been selectively targeted by the FDA previously, reportedly contributed $1 Million to the project, and has a brief cameo at the end.

I went to support the project. I am not the target audience. I eschewed a career in law because of the sick farce of the Roe v. Wade fiat law; I lost marital prospects (within the organized, conservative church community) because I, as a youth minister, categorically denounced abortion as murder. I did not need to see this to bolster my convictions.

(It was nice to see again on screen Robia LaMorte, who chose to avoid Hollywood roles that compromised her Christian witness, after a long hiatus.)

“That’s pretty crappy.”

The word, that (from “that’s”), is a pronoun. To what does it refer?

Are you asserting that the docu-drama, Unplanned, is “pretty crappy”?

Are you asserting that the topic of exposing the abortion industry is “pretty crappy”?

Are you asserting that the substance of the video discussion is “pretty crappy”?

Are you asserting that the simple existence of the video discussion is “pretty crappy”?

Are you asserting that the posting of the video itself is “pretty crappy”?

As usual, your so-called reply is not a legitimate one: lacking relevance, lacking substance. You are virtually never on topic – about anything. Any thread is merely an opportunity to be subversive: abusive, vulgar, and/or slanderous. In other words, every thread is merely an opportunity for you to be a troll.

Lacking evidence to the contrary, I suspect that the person who posted this actually cares about the issue at hand: the abortion industry and Planned Parenthood, sanctity of life and the Pro-Life movement, with all the moral and legal ramifications involved.

On the other hand, I have seen abundant evidence over dozens of threads of your monomaniacal motivation. Apparently, the issue at hand is never the issue at hand for you: just an excuse for a negative response – one lacking any redeeming value.

The issue of abortion – the deliberate killing of preborn human life – is a serious issue for me, for the poster, and for many others on Free Republic. If it is not for you, and you are not willing to take part in the discussion in a meaningful way, then stay off such threads. (That is per Jim Robinson, in a general notice in December.)

Gratuitously taking “pretty crappy” potshots at others – whether the thread has been correctly posted or not – is not on-topic behavior. You are not a moderator (are you?). If you are so obsessed with the idea of a mere blogger – however nebulously defined - posting anything on Free Republic, and are convinced it was invalidly done, then you can report it as abuse to an actual moderator.

This movie is important, as is the effort and witness of the people involved – both the real-life persons and the on-screen actors: All have paid a price in this society for taking such a stand.

As someone in past ministry, I have also paid a personal price for my public anti-abortion stands, going back to 1980 – long before this forum existed. This issue is important to me, objectively and subjectively. I find your trollish behavior objectionable on a general basis – but I find your gratuitously disrespectful reply on this particular thread especially offensive.

For the record, I am writing this for the benefit of others, not for you; having seen many of your “pretty crappy” replies going back many months, I consider you an anti-social recidivist. I care about you lowering the level of discussion on any thread you maliciously invade, not about whatever snarky reply you make toward me.

P.S.
I practice what I preach: I generally stopped commenting on your trollish posts long ago – per the above notice in December. I started reporting them as abuse. I reported this as abuse. That report was apparently ignored. This is my taking it to the next available option.

I saw it today. It’s a hard-hitting movie about what really goes on in this huge baby killing organization. It’s well-acted and the gal who plays
Abby Johnson did a fine job. The actress who played her female boss did an outstanding impersonation of an uncaring, mean-ass democrat baby killing witch. This movie needs to be seen by everyone in the United States over the age of 12.

It refers to the single sentence posted as a thread.

Yes, we know. You spend a lot of words telling folks how awesome you are.

I consider you an anti-social recidivist.

Thanks for the consideration.

I started reporting them as abuse. I reported this as abuse.

Gosh, that's pretty harsh there Reverend Stampy Foot.

This is my taking it to the next available option.

Yes, you're clearly upset. You deserve it.

Now go sit down and don't wake me up for this kind of nonsense again.

I care about women in the situation of an unplanned pregnancy, but never believed killing the baby is the answer.

I consider those women who have had abortions no different than any person who walked up to a random person on the street, put a gun to the person’s head, and pulled the trigger killing that person. It is not relevant that somehow our “law” ( put in parenthesis because somehow the Supreme Court made this law) allows this killing to go on behind closed doors, unabated.

No euphemism (i.e. The word abortion in and of itself) changes the fact that the woman (i.e. The child’s mother) took part of the murder of a child. The doctors and the entire abortion mill industry is also responsible for those murders.

Concerning the movie, and having only seen the trailer, it shows why, once again, 80% of humans and in my opinion a higher percentage of women, are simply lemmings, who are highly susceptible to social pressure and only look to please others and thus follow the crowd, regardless of the moral consequences.

Great to read that. She was uncompromising in portraying her role, as a witness to the evil thereof.

I'm glad to see she has taken what I assume to be her married name, since her original Italian name, LaMorte, means "the death."
