Since news emerged of Brunei implementing sharia law and violating human rights, we have focused on Brunei and condemned the development, but is Brunei alone? What about all the others?

I just assumed that Brunei already was operating by Sharia Law. I keep hearing about tourists getting in trouble for showing affection or not dressing properly.
Any place in that region of the globe, one is safer to presume the country is run by Sharia Law.
