I just looked up the percentage of people who ID as transgender in the world and it said 0.6% POINT six percent!!!! And it gets ALL this attention??? I wonder how many childhood diseases - LIFE THREATENING diseases - that have a much higher percentage in the population get the amount of media attention trans do.
In my opinion, there is no such thing as “transgender”...You cannot change from XY chromosomes to XX chromosomes...
The only thing even close would be those who have themselves surgically altered...

They are going to be screwed up for the rest of their lives, just so their parent(s) have bragging rights. But what to do? I would be loathe to abridge parental rights because that is a double edged sword. We may have to let them screw up their kids so we can raise ours to be healthy and sane. As awful as this is, the real problem is: how the hell did we get to where this is a thing?
