“A 1/2 “black” girl with a lighter completion that nearly 50% of whites has a baby with a pale redhead.... Their kid is going to need sunscreen.”

That is not necessarily true! the Black gene ( or whatever you choose to call it) is recessive. Megan and Harry’s son may not look Black at all, or he could be very Black. Furthermore, down the road, he could have a completely Black offspring.

I agree. I was friends with a guy long ago, who was a lot whiter than me. His Dad who raised and is the biological father, was black as coal. Genetics.

Where did you learn genetics? Black gene characteristics are dominant, not recessive. Brown eyes are dominant, Blue eyes are recessive, etc.

The laws of genetics state that eye color is inherited as follows:

  1. If both parents have blue eyes, the children will have blue eyes.
  2. The brown eye form of the eye color gene (or allele) is dominant, whereas the blue eye allele is recessive.
  3. If both parents have brown eyes yet carry the allele for blue eyes,  a quarter of the children will have blue eyes, and three quarters will have brown eyes.

It then follows that if a child born to two blue-eyed parents does not have blue eyes, then the blue-eyed father is not the biological father. It is therefore reasonable to expect that a man would be more attracted towards a woman displaying a trait that increases his paternal confidence, and the likelihood that he could uncover his partner’s sexual infidelity.

Eighty-eight male and female students were asked to rate facial attractiveness of models on a computer.  The pictures were close-ups of young adult faces, unfamiliar to the participants.   The eye color of each model was manipulated, so that for each model’s face two versions were shown, one with the natural eye color (blue/brown) and another with the other color (brown/blue).  The participants’ own eye color was noted.

Both blue-eyed and brown-eyed women showed no difference in their preferences for male models of either eye color.  Similarly, brown-eyed men showed no preference for either blue-eyed or brown-eyed female models.  However, blue-eyed men rated blue-eyed female models as more attractive than brown-eyed models.

In a second study, a group of 443 young adults of both sexes and different eye colors were asked to report the eye color of their romantic partners.  Blue-eyed men were the group with the largest proportion of partners of the same eye color.

According to Bruno Laeng and colleagues, “It is remarkable that blue-eyed men showed such a clear preference for women with the same eye color, given that the present experiment did not request participants to choose prospective sexual mates, but only to provide their aesthetic or attractiveness responses…based on face close-up photographs.”  Blue-eyed men may have unconsciously learned to value a physical trait that can facilitate recognition of own kin.

1.  Laeng B et al (2006).  Why do blue-eyed men prefer women with the same eye color?  (Behavioral Ecology and Sociobiology DOI 1007.1007/s00265-006-0266-1)

In 1972, I paid attention in high school Biology class. I have blue eyes, light skin and did have dark blond hair before it turned white. My teacher was able to subtly, yet step-by-step, show us that racism exists exactly because a White person mating with a Black person predominantly will look Black. And, well stated that way sounds like conjecture, but it is almost impossible to refute. My wife has some Cherokee documented from her Mother generations ago, but her Father had Blue eyes and our Daughter has Blue eyes. Oh, the reason I, as a Blue eyed man, didn't follow the described statistical trend of eye color preference is that my wife of 45 years was drop dead gorgeous, and I remembered her face from the playground in elementary school ten years before. I had even remembered her parent's VW Bug parking in front of the school in 1965 since it was such a novelty back then.

I’ve been around and done business with and yes slept with female mulattoes all my life from my home in Mississippi to Jamaica to Haiti where the blacks tried genocide on mulattoes after they killed all the whites to west Africa to Brasil to Dominican Republic where is a serious shade perspective to north coast Colombia

I have never ever ever seen a highly white mulatto like the Duchess of Sussex clearly is and a ginger Caucasian produce a black black kid

Never and I’ve seen 100s maybe even 1000s

It’s almost always a fairly even distribution although some of the children may pass as white and some darker but none pure negroid looking

I don’t think it’s possible especially since Harry likely carries no recessive dark skin genes

I married a Brasilian woman of dark catholic Arab parentage

Her mom was light and brown eyes

Her dad was more swarthy with green eyes

Their daughter my wife looked like Salma Hayek meets Penelope Cruz meets Sonja Braga

Gorgeous and dark with black eyes....like my mom had

Our girls were one looked like me

Olive and green cat eyes....only kid of five looks like me

The other looked like her mom exactly but bigger head like mine and my hair

This baby could look like either or a mix.....not pure negroid

That’s a myth
