Thank you for the update from that region.
Maybe the Israelis should do it, if it needs to be done.
I’m tired of this country spending our treasure and blood in the M.E., and for what?
We cannot even defend our own southern border.
Cuba and related activity in the western hemisphere is a bigger threat to American lives than Iran...
Iran likes to capture US citizens and military and film them for propaganda purposes. They also like to play “chicken with large US military vessels and small boats.
I hope Iran misjudges and the B-52’s bomb the Iranian nuclear complexes into dust along with all military command and control centers.
I want the US to establish a no fly zone over Iran for at least a couple of months so we can bomb their military into the Stone age.
Hustorically, killing a bunch of people makes for change.
Iran putting missiles on boats (the present problem) is countered by destroying those boats, and killing the people on them.
Regime change? That’s up to those who support the regime.
I’d go along with a line of MOABs from Rasht to Amol to Mashhad...
...Then proceed South until you reach the Persian Gulf
If they haven’t come to their senses by the second or third string, write them off as slow learners.
Trumps already started it. The following site contains the listing for 126 companies that deal with Iran, even against sanctions:
http://graphics.wsj.com/iran-sanctions/
As part of the 2015 nuclear deal, the Obama administration lifted a host of sanctions aimed at the Iranian economy. The move came as a relief to Iran, nowhere more so than in its oil and banking sectors: Iranian tankers once more gained access to European and Asian markets, and the country gained access to some $100 billion in assets that had been frozen overseas.
When Trump’s administration re-implemented the first major round of sanctions earlier this year, it slapped barriers on trade involving Iranian metals, as well as its automotive and airline industries. But Iran’s oil and banking sectors are expected to see the biggest impact from sanctions and those are precisely the areas his administration has recently targeted.
The White House says it is going after major oil exporters, shipping companies and major Iranian banks including the country’s Central Bank and other financial institutions. And it will also “target those who attempt to violate or circumvent the sanctions.”
So Trump is isolating them financially and cutting off their escape route. Tack that on to cutting off their food and medical imports that Obama gave back in 2015, and they will be forced to talk about acting properly. Ot they can starve to death. The choice is there’s.

Maximum pressure? Yes! But, then what? Bush had troops in Iraq and Afghanistan but didn't have them race to Teheran.
Act of God?
From orbit.

Why?
Why does Iran need to and from doing what stopped? From threatening the Sunni Arabs?
Why should American lives be put on the line AGAIN for this Sunni-Shia war? The Shia have not sent terrorists to blow up buildings, metros or concerts. It was Sunni terrorists from Saudi inspiration who killed hundreds of Christians in church on easter 2019, it was Sunni saudis who blew up the WTC towers.
Saudi arabia is the enemy - and if the Iranians want to fight them, good. Let the USA stay out of it
We are Americans here, and this is not our problem. There’s a billion Arabs in the region who could deal with the problem if they so chose; clearly, they do not so choose.
So it’s none of our business. If Iran screws with us we will obliterate it. Until and unless that happens, any appeals to send US troops into another Middle Eastern meat grinder can and will be met with hostility.
Pop several EMP’s over Teheran and when the R.G.’s command & control over Iranian society disintegrates because all their computers are fried, then the people will rise up and before long every lamp post in Iran will be decorated with mullahs and R.G.’s.
A general uprising could have happened in 2009 except for Bammie Jug Ears’ deliberate indifference.
