Millennials are a mirror that reflect many of society’s problems — or so claims a new report from researchers at Stanford University and other institutions.
The report, published Thursday, examines everything from suicide rates to health to homeownership among millennials in their 20s and 30s.
“Millennials are the first generation to experience in a full-throttled way the social and economic problems of our time,” said sociology professor David Grusky, director of the Stanford Center on Poverty and Inequality.
“These problems are steam-rolling a generation in a special way because they are bearing the brunt of factors like high inequality, declining economic prospects of high school dropouts and a growing education gap.”

There is ALWAYS some forms of “inequality”. Externally imposed it is just a hurdle to be overcome, demonstrating a “difference” the individual is not going to allow to stand in their way. When it is internally derived, it is a consequence of our own abilities and inabilities, our own diligence and lack of diligence, our own perseverance and lack of perseverance, and our willingness or unwillingness to match our expectations to the possible.

My dad graduated HS in 1932—right into the teeth of the Great Depression. Hustled pool, played in a band, even mined gold to make ends meet. Managed to get an AA degree. Learned how to fly hoping to be a pilot in AAF. When Depression started to ease, he got WWII thrown at him. His and countless others’ lives were put on hold for more than a decade. Yet Millennials are having it tough? Please.

The problem with millennials is they embrace so much nonsense, a way of looking at life not from reason but “how I feel”.
So they support not only the LGBT crowd, but allowing children to question their sexuality, because they just are unable to apply logic to any issue.
