My favorite of all of my 22’s is my Savage-Anschutz 54, which I inherited from my Dad, beautiful gun. My sentimental favorite, which I’ve put 10’s of thousands of rounds through, is the 1966 Browning T-Bolt my dad gave me for my first gun. It’s still in great shape, shoots great, and is super easy to clean.
My all around 22 is Ruger 10/22, which I own a few of. The one I shoot most is a carbine model. Great shooters, but kind of a pain to clean, and they get finicky if not kept pretty clean.
Speaking of Dad guns, my dad had a Remington Nylon 66. He plinked a lot of small game with it. He had lots of rifles/shotguns in various calibers, but this was one of his favorites.
The plastic stock was quite a novelty. And the 14 round tubular magazine was kind of unique.
Unfortunately he died when I was 10 and my older brother inherited all the guns. I don’t know if he still has it or not.
