Liar, Leaker, Traitor James Clapper Hears AG Barr’s “Chilling” Footsteps

They really counted on Hillary winning, didn’t they? Former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper is in panic mode, realizing that the so-called “intelligence community” he supervised under President Obama is about to be revealed by Atty. Gen. William Barr and U.S. Atty. John Durham as a weaponized arm of the Clinton campaign, with indictments to follow.

The man who lied to Congress about spying on the American people was shocked back in April to hear Barr testify before Congress that, yes, he thought that the Trump campaign had been spied upon by his political opponents. As Breitbart reported:

Well, I thought it was most stunning and scary. I was amazed at that and rather disappointed that the attorney general would say such a thing. The term “spying” has all kinds of negative connotations, and I have to believe he chose that term deliberately. And I think it’s incredible that if he has concerns, he would have easily on his first day on the job, after his confirmation, asked his own IG, the Inspector General of the Department of Justice, for a briefing on his preliminary, in the course of his investigation, that is, the IG’s investigation, whether there was any wrongdoing by the FBI. I think it would have been far more appropriate for him to just defer to that investigation rather than postulating, apparently with no evidence. He just has a feeling that there was spying against the campaign.
Barr has more than that it would seem and has sent chills up Clapper’s spine that he and Durham are dead serious about checking out the real reasons for the intelligence community’s “assessment” that Russia wanted Trump to win and was meddling in the election to achieve that result. According to a Wall Street Journal report :
Former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper says The Wall Street Journal report that Attorney General William Barr appears to be investigating a high-confidence finding of the US intelligence community assessment of the 2016 election sends a "chilling message to the intelligence community."
Close scrutiny of the intelligence community’s actions should send chills up Clapper’s spine. In the search for the answer as to how the whole Mueller collusion probe and spying on Team Trump originated, one does not have to look far. One need only to revisit the interview deep state conspirator and perjurer James Clapper gave with CNN’s Anderson Cooper. He points his finger directly at Barack Hussein Obama as leader of the coup against Donald Trump:
Former Obama administration director of national intelligence James Clapper admitted that former president Barack Obama gave the order to Peter Strzok to kick off his Operation Crossfire Hurricane targeting of President Donald Trump.

Obama — who also gave a stand-down order on stopping alleged Russian hacking — was personally implicated in the plot according to Peter Strzok and Lisa Page’s texts. Clapper confirms the obvious.

This is James Clapper’s interview with Anderson Cooper, which confirms that Obama ordered Strzok to carry out an Intelligence Community Assessment (ICA), which became the basis for the entire Mueller probe.

“If it weren’t for President Obama we might not have done the intelligence community assessment that we did that set up a whole sequence of events which are still unfolding today, notably Special Counsel Mueller’s investigation. President Obama is responsible for that. It was he who tasked us to do that intelligence community assessment in the first place,” Clapper said in his Anderson Cooper interview.

That intelligence community assessment would have included in it the “unverified and salacious”, as former FBI Director James Comey described it, dossier paid for by Hillary and the DNC and compiled from Russian disinformation source by British agent Christopher Steele in the only real collusion with Russia in this whole affair.

The announcement by Attorney General William Barr that yes, he believes Team Trump was spied upon by Hillary and the Democrats and yes, he’s going to look into it is a rarity these days – a genuine bombshell.

There should be enough evidence to convict Yates, McCabe, Strzok, Page and some of the others who had a hands on role.

But unless there is direct evidence or testimony linking Clapper and Brennan then they will plead ignorance and incompetence and say that their underlings kept them in the dark. It’s up to the prosecution to show that they knew crimes were occurring or even better that they participated. It’s not enough for us to know that they are guilty if there isn’t evidence that will convince a court.

I hear you. It is just breathless stories about possible punishment of the usual suspects get old. This is conservative media playing us. Liberals do the same. I wonder how many believe what they write or care.

I refuse to believe it until I see Clapper indicted. Period.

In my days in the Regular Army O, I never completely trusted the Intel weenies, although almost everyone of them were very smart and very ambitious.

In my early days in the 82d Airborne Divison, I spent much of my time plotting and scheming to get more jumps, it being the number 1 metric of manliness. The Brigade Commander, in his infinite wisdom decided to make me the Assistant S-2 (Intel) which required lots of work, resulting in few extra jumps. Very shortly, I became the S-2, and shortly thereafter we were alerted to jump into Jordan to rescue hostages and several airliners that had been full of passengers, now hostages. Now, I was very, very busy and I got lots of help from the Intel Community who were complete strangers to me, but were very smart but very nervous about jumping out of an airplane. The Brigade Commander was pressured to replace me with a real intel weenie with the rank to match the job, but he decided to go with me, an Infantry type.

In the end, the crisis was resolved by the State Department weenies and though we departed Ft. Bragg, we were turned around somewhere over the Atlantic. I learned about Intel Weenies while I was at it.

My next little step on the career ladder was as a Long Range Platoon Leader in the Central Highlands of Vietnam where I learned that since my Troop Commander and Squadron Commander didn’t much care (being Aviators), I worked for the Corps G-2 (Intel) and G-3 (Operations). the G-2 decided where our patrols needed to go, and the G-3 decided if it made sense. The G-2 types were, of course, very smart, but I never saw them during the mission. Only at the mission briefing, the de-brief and at the Pleiku Officer’s Club. They did not like the getting shot as part of Intel gathering.

I became suspicious of these Intel types and at every step along the way, my experiences were reinforced by my earlier experience. Smart and ambitious and spent most of their time working to impress Colonels and Generals. I worked hard to impress the privates and Sergeants, the one who really counted. I didn’t see them when it was wet, cold, and the chow was hours late.

I can’t believe that Clapper was so willing to sell out the country for his own ambitious goals, but I guess that I should not have been surprised.

Hey, that has a ring to it: “Liar, Leaker, Traitor, Spy.”

Reminiscent of “Soldier, Sailor, Tinker, Spy.” Was that intentional?

You clearly have a very limited knowledge of the Intelligence Community.

You clearly have a very limited knowledge of the Intelligence Community.

That could be. I certainly tried to stay away from them, and I certainly know some very good exceptions. But I have been looking for evidence that could change my opinion without much luck.

What do you think of Clapper and Brennen?

I think we are going to find there exists evidence that Clapper and Brennan were involved...and I think everyone on the intelligence committees knows it, Barr knows it, and Trump knows it.

If you watch any of the testimony given under oath from both Yates and Clapper, see how they squirm when asked by Lindsey Graham about the unmasking of Gen. Flynn. (LINK)

This is the crux of the REAL scandal, as Dan Bongino has been pointing out on his show and did today as well.

The question is: How did the Obama Administration have access to the conversation with the Russian Ambassador that Gen. Flynn was prosecuted for making false statements on? (They 100% had a transcript of Gen. Flynn's conversation, otherwise...how could they know there was a disparity?)

The Obama personnel have INSISTED that the conversation was recorded as a part of incidental monitoring. That is what they have maintained. This all started because they read a press account of a discussion between VP Pence and Gen. Flynn that, according to the scummy professional liar Sally Yates, "they knew not to be the truth".

Fair enough. If we take them at their word, the transcript of the recording, to protect Gen. Flynn as an American Citizen with rights, would have looked something like this:

RUSSIAN AMBASSADOR KISLYAK: Hello [REDACTED], how are you? Congratulations on your new position.

AMERICAN CITIZEN: Thank you. We are looking forward to getting to work.

RUSSIAN AMBASSADOR KISLYAK: I have a few things to discuss with you before the inauguration of Mr. Trump.

AMERICAN CITIZEN: Of course. What is on your mind?

And so on. Gen. Flynn would have never been identified in the database. To find out who was talking to the Russian Ambassador, there would have to be a formal 702 request to "unmask" that AMERICAN CITIZEN and reveal his identity. They wouldn't have known.

So, the question is...and the question Lindsey Graham posed to both Yates and Clapper was...would there be a record of this formal request to unmask the identity of the American Citizen speaking with the Russian Ambassador?

A very good question indeed. There would HAVE to be a formal "unmasking request" so as not to break the law.

Then, watch after Graham asks that very pointed question...Yates pompously hides behind the veil of security. Clapper, who is more of a dimwit, stumbles and dissembles, then has to admit, if it were a 702 request...yes, there would be a record of it.

So. The point is...when that news report with Flynn statements to Pence that the POS Yates says that "They knew not to be the truth"...how indeed did they know that not to be the truth? Did they read that transcript of the conversation before the Press report of Pence's conversation with Flynn?

Really?

That is the nut of the issue. WHO ASKED FOR THE "UNMASKING" OF THAT ANONYMIZED "AMERICAN CITIZEN", WHEN DID THEY ASK FOR IT, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY...WHY DID THEY ASK FOR IT?

Because if they asked for it up front, someone was mining the database for a purpose. And the real scandal is...that is going to be the TIP of the iceberg. There was a LOT of intelligence gathering on a wide variety of "American Citizens" from contractors mining the NSA database (prompting Admiral Rogers to shut off NSA Contractor access to the database in April 2016), couple with RECORD volumes of 702 "unmasking requests by the Obama Administration (from NSA statistics):

That is the real scandal. And the tap-dance around this by both Yates and Clapper (not to mention Susan Rice outside this venue) is very telling.

Justice demands that each ‘shop’ in the Obama Administration will have to take responsibility for Crossfire Hurricane. At least 1 individual from FBI, CIA, NSA and the White House itself will have to sit in the dock. The FBI will probably have several. But the key will be Clapper, I think. He’s weak and signalling g his willingness to roll on others. With Clapper you get Brennan and Yates. Comey will be defiant to the end... sort of a latter day G. Gor do Liddy.
