50 women from 50 states take over DC, standing behind this officer to fight for the second amendment

One week after celebrating Independence Day, a group of American women are heading to Washington D.C.

It’s a nonpartisan initiative to bring 50 women from 50 states to dispel the common myths and garner support for gun rights. This no ordinary group of women, and I am honored to be one of them.

We are from different backgrounds and represent the same diversities found everywhere in the U.S.

From law enforcement officers, competitive shooters, single moms, business owners, survivors of violent crimes, LGBTQ, former military, housewives, and students, we find commonality through our dedication to the Constitution and the Second Amendment.

As we reveal our stories and personal reasons for supporting gun rights, we wish to be a resource on gun issues, education, and safety, and develop relationships with our representatives and senators to preserve our rights.

The timing of this event, right after Independence Day, is a great reminder of why we should always defend our right to bear arms.

America’s July 4thIndependence Day is a day of remembrance when the armed American people declared our freedom from a tyrannical government by signing the Declaration of Independence.

That fateful day led to the American Revolutionary War in which armed Americans fought against the most powerful military force in the world and won. It took brave men, who risked everything, and who took up arms to fight against injustices that they could no longer bear. This is how American gained our freedom and our freedom must be preserved.

The founder of the DC Project is Dianna Muller. She is a two-time national 3-gun champion.

She is also a 22-year veteran of the Tulsa Police Department serving assignments in Narcotics, Gangs, Street Crimes, and Patrol. She is a CLEET law enforcement firearms instructor, a member of the NRA Law Enforcement committee, and a subcommittee member of the Department of Interior Hunting and Shooting Sports Conservation Council.

Dianna represented the USA in the IPSC World Shotgun match, where she brought home individual silver and team gold medals. In 2016, Muller met with her legislator and wanted to encourage other women to do the same, so she asked colleagues in the shooting community to join her.

Most of the time, legislators are only hearing from women and students who demand to take away our freedoms, however those voices are few in comparison to the silent majority of Americans and in particular female gun owners.

We feel it is important for legislators to know that those few protestors do not speak for everyone. The DC Project exists to encourage women to exercise their guaranteed Second Amendment right and learn how to protect themselves and their families.

It is important to never be a victim.

It is also important to protect and preserve hunting and shooting sports. As a mother of a son, who competes in shooting sports, I am dedicated to preserving American youth’s opportunities in marksmanship and shooting sports.

As a business owner who supports our great right to bear arms, I am also an advocate for the industries, businesses and jobs that make up the firearms industry.

Many of the manufacturers, distributors, firearms retailers, shooting ranges, sportsmen’s organizations and publishers are an important part of our economy and support our great Second Amendment rights. They are also dedicated to safe practices and in keeping guns out of the wrong hands. After all it is people who kill people, not guns.

We also hope to remind our legislators that 98% of mass shootings happen in gun free zones. However, when armed citizens can protect themselves, lives are saved.

In a time when our media only reports drama and clickbait stories, it seems the squeaky wheel gets the grease.

Hopefully, our group of proud American women can be a more refreshing encouraging type of voice in D.C. this week, when we let our legislators know how great we think our right to bear arms really is and how we hope it is never infringed upon.

The 2nd Amendment and gun owners are under a constant barrage of lies from the leftist fascists.

I wish this group of patriotic ladies good luck on educating politicians and dispelling the lies and fake news about firearms..

Would be beautiful to see them and thousands of supporters to walk into DC to Capital Hill from Virginia, all open-carrying. What would DC do with ‘peoples power’ by Americans exercising their constitutional rights?

“From law enforcement officers, competitive shooters, single moms, business owners, survivors of violent crimes, LGBTQ, former military, housewives, and students, we find commonality through our dedication to the Constitution and the Second Amendment.”

LGBTQ? Sorry, but it is never permissible, under any circumstances or for any reason, to allow the suspicion that these perversions are anything less than the blackest evil.

“LGBTQ?”

I likely share many of your beliefs regarding the LGBTQ people. However the Second Amendment is for all US Citizens. We all have the right to self defense.

I do not care for LGBTQ types, but I do not want to seem them murdered. Mental health care, yes. Dead, no.

And I do not see the need to suspend 2nd Amendment rights for those found guilty of non-gun type felonies.

A sure fire way to lose the 2nd Amendment is to let anyone start picking away at it based on classes of people that should not own a gun.

“I do not care for LGBTQ types, but I do not want to seem them murdered.”

I really don’t understand how you got that from what I said. I didn’t say their human right to self-defense should be interfered with; I said that they must not be presented as anything other than evil.

Let me try it this way. A boy sees this article, and sees that the sodomites are included along with everyone else. He therefore thinks, “Oh, I guess they must be all right, if they’re accepted in this company.”

The next day, a sodomite offers him a few hundred bucks for anal sex. Instead of punching the pervert and running away in horror, he thinks, “Nothing wrong with a little experimentation, I guess, and I could really use the money.”

There is some non-zero probability that the trauma of being used like a female will induce same-sex attraction disorder. Even if it doesn’t, that memory will harm him every minute of every day until he draws his dying breath.

There’s more to being a man than just being male.
