I would agree to a point but this is for 100% disabled Vets, which I can get behind
as long as it is truly for 100% disabled I could support it but I would want a long hard review of each case because being around the military, being married to military, being parented by military there are a ton of strong able bodied men who are massively taking advantage of military disability.
Unfortunately, most of the people I know who claim to be mentally disabled go for 100%. 100% disabled does not mean what you think that it does. My next door neighbor claims he is 100% disabled because he claims his desk job caused his back to go bad. When he is working around the yard or working on his roof, he wears a hat and scarf to make it hard to get a video where he can be identified.
And of course I knew a lot of scammers who claimed to be 100% disabled from the fire department. A couple of them did get in trouble, one when he was videoed playing soccer and the other who was videoed water skiing. These guys weren't as paranoid as our neighbor...
And as I said many of the people that I know personally who claim to have PTSD never saw any combat or even had to clean up the mess from combat.
100% disabled , I this case, doesnt mean they cant work. I know several 100%ers that work and make tons of money. Its becoming a scam.
