Charles Whitman, I’ll take that question, as a retired police commander with over 30 years “street experience”: NO there is NOTHING that will STOP a vicious predator, who wants to commit a HORROR STORY from doing what he chooses UNLESS we are VERY lucky to have an ARMED & TRAINED person on-site to STOP him.
President Kennedy was 100% CORRECT when he said that ANYBODY can KILL the POTUS, IF he’s willing to die.= The SAME is true of hateful monsters like the Columbine Killers, Adam Lanza & the other more recent mass murderers, who CHOOSE to slaughter innocent people.
NO, passing more “gun control” laws & disarming the LAW-ABIDING will do NOTHING, except make the job of a MASS MURDERER easier to complete & generally MUCH more deadly.
“Gun Free Zones” actually ATTRACT such CRIMINAL PREDATORS & NO more stop such creatures than STOP signs cause people to stop their car..

That might be hard on some Freepers.
No one can predict when such a thing could happen. The only thing that will prevent it from becoming worse is when we are all allowed to carry a firearm as the Constitution allows us to. I’ve said here a number of times I don’t believe in any gun control laws. They don’t work, there isn’t anything what so ever in the 2nd. Amendment that says a permit is required and in and of themselves gun control laws are unconstitutional.
Killing them will keep them from killing.
I certainly want the Federal government out of education: un-Constitutional, and too much centralized, collectivist control.
I am not necessarily opposed to local government schooling.
Allowing honest people to carry firearms everywhere is the best solution we will ever have to criminals and the mentally ill.
We should have any public education run entirely by the local school boards, with state governments perhaps setting some standards. We elect these people, and sometimes even pay specific taxes to them, so let them take the lions share of the responsibility, not the feds or the states.

We MUST lobby for Constitutional Carry and put an end to the gun control BS that has so captivated the LIEberals, both Democrat and Republican, among us!
The ONLY new law that will cause these mad people to quit murdering us is one that does not allow them to tell who is armed!
