I no longer regard Firefox as a privacy browser. The introduction of Pocket and the Firefox accounts they want all users to set up tells me they are vacuuming up data just like the socials. Also, a free VPN gives you no privacy. The only thing it does to let the VPN provider make money selling your browsing data instead of your ISP.

Ever since Mozilla fired Brendan Eich they have IMHO gone over to the dark side. Use Brave and a good VPN provider that is paid for by your monthly fees.

Same here. DuckDuckGo for search engine, Proton for email.

I have a Magellan GPS for my vehicle and it will only update with Chrome so I installed Brave and was able to update no problem, then I saw that the Brave icon was now on all my pictures, so I uninstalled Brave. I am not sure why that happened, but easy to say I do not trust the software!
