Frisco (Texas y'all) high school mascot used to be the Coons.

PC dictated that they change to the Raccoons.

Back in the 80's when it was a farming town and was set by developers to expand.

Had a coworker that lived in Frisco... he drank coffee from an old mug emblazoned with "Frisco Coons". Swore he'd never throw it out.
