Double dog dare you.

Without a house vote, there is NO formal impeachment inquiry.
It’s really that plain and simple.

Mo, it doesn’t. The Country is already gone. It is now only a matter of how long it will last. When the voters, in their infinite wisdom, put obama in the white House and gave the Democrat Party control of both Houses of Congress, that did it. From that point to the mid term elections, without any Republican opposition, they went wild. Just after Congress convened, the Democrat Leadership announced that they would not present a budget for the year, which was a violation of the Constitution. Ever since that, the Government has been funded by continuing resolutions. Then they inflicted obamacare on us. Plus experimenting socially with the military. Homosexuals and transgenders being allowed and encouraged to enter, plus the Black Lives Matter and other gangs of their ilk. Bums taking craps on police cars in full public view. Sexual deviancy went wild. obama said numerous times, “If elected, I will fundamentally transform America.” He was and he did.

Oh please. The country has survived rebellions, depressions, and two other impeachments. It will survive this.

Really? Let's hear your analysis, specifically where DB has erred.

Then Pelosi is effectively using the powers / processes of a branch of government to influence an upcoming Presidential election? That is an abuse of government power.

Yep!
Exactly right. Pelosi is in trouble now for not calling a house vote. Today is a good day for President Trump.
Just wait and see.

Finally, should the Senate end up removing the President from office absent any real grounds for doing so, then the social contract between the public and the entire ruling class, already hanging on by a mere thread, will have been severed. If that sad day should come to pass, all bets for our nation’s survival in its current form will be off.

Exactly so. While we have endured rebellions, never before (to my knowledge) has the bureaucratic state declared war on an elected president...and by extension, the electorate. We're being told we may not elect a president of which they disapprove. Can a Russian/Iranian type election be far behind, where candidates must be approved by the state?

This strikes at the heart of "The Consent of the Governed."

For those who despise President Trump...I would ask, do you despise the office, the idea of the presidency? Because these actions have diminished the office greatly. They have diminished the Congress.

The 'Resistance' has gone well beyond the boundaries of acceptable dissent. It's the Sixties all over again. Knowing what we know now, will we accept the same result?

The RATs are not fit participants for our system of government.

I think this circus has been created so that when RBG dies, the left will say that a President under impeachment proceedings (true or not) should not be allowed to nominate a SCOTUS justice.

This one could easily lead to rebellion, and outright war. I’m sorry, but they are blatantly pushing an illegal act and should be held accountable.

Their general illegal push for mad power grab is “Trump dared to ask that the investigation that Biden blackmailed the Ukraine to stop be reinstated. That’s an abuse of power.” The insanity of their pretzel-logic is rampant. Basically, again, ignoring massive illegality to accuse Trump of daring to ask for justice. The first few times, it was bad, it’s getting worse, and they’re sharpening daggers, and it’s getting almost well past the point where action needs to be taken to physically remove these illegal actors from our nation’s halls.

the funniest part of yesterday’s antics by Pelosi: Despite all the weasel words she spoke in her statement late in the afternoon, nothing real changed.

Exactly, a simple observation that the moronic media overlooks. It's hype, arm flailing, like their nominee the fake Indian.

That is an abuse of government power.

By coincidence, the very accusation against PT.

I don’t know if there’ll be one but this is a county in desperate need of a massive civil war.

Blood running as high as horses bridle in the District of Corruption is about the only way to cleanse that cesspool.

https://nccs.net/blogs/articles/the-impeachment-process

A lot of mis-information is being spread around.

“While impeachment proceedings can be complex, the basic process is quite simple. An impeachment begins when an official behaves in a manner which the people believe disqualifies him from further public service.

A complaint requesting an impeachment investigation of that official is lodged with the House of Representatives. That request may either be general in its scope or it may delineate specific offenses; it may be requested in a petition filed by individual citizens or on the request of a single Representative, a group of Representatives, or the President.

The request is referred to the House Judiciary Committee which forwards it to the Subcommittee on the Constitution. The Subcommittee then investigates the complaints and, if there is merit to the charges, Articles of Impeachment describing the specific offense(s) are prepared. Those Articles are forwarded to the full Judiciary Committee for a vote. If approved, the Articles are sent to the full House for a vote.

“A simple majority of the House either approves or disapproves the Articles. If disapproved, the issue is terminated. Approval, however, is, in effect, the equivalent of a grand jury indictment against that official. The approved Articles of Impeachment are then delivered to the Senate. With this action, the House’s role in an impeachment is finished.

So there is NO requirement of a vote while the Judicial Committee looks into the “charges”.

All Pelosi has done is give her approval for the Committee to continue looking into the matter. Her approval of the investigation changes nothing.

The next step is for the committee to vote on the charges. If approved the matter is put in front of the entire House to vote on it.

We are a long ways (if ever) that happening.

Any rebellion by the right will be put down by the Dems and military. Any rebellion by the left will be supported by the Dems and military. Should push come to shove, the military leadership would support the left.

“Besides some judges what have the Republicans done except push the globalist agenda?”

Not much as Paul Ryan and others squandered the first 2 precious, fleeting years of Trump’s Presidency.

Not so sure about that. The Dems (communists) are still trying to figure out what bathroom to use. They couldn’t “put down” a wet paper bag without military support. Most of the rank/file military love the POTUS as we do...they hate the communists. The military leadership definitely supports the communists...but those perfumed princes still have to report to POTUS. Whatever side the POTUS and the overall military supports will be the successor.
The communists definitely have it coming, and there are thousands out there just itching to give it to em...BIG TIME.

” It is now only a matter of how long it will last.”

On one hand I agree with you. On the other, we were blessed with this country, others fought to make it, defend her. We may be required to fight for and defend her too. Until then, I pray.
