You can't impeach a US senator. They are difficult critters to get rid of.
Were Romney not part of the LDS elite, he would not be a senator from Utah, but the deal is done and they will make certain he is in the senate until he goes to Kolob. He's like Tom Harkin was in IA, Ted Kennedy in MA and the late McNoName in AZ: senator for life or until he can't go any further.
So, I take it you were one of the “in” crowd, and viewed others who didn’t have your credentials, as inferior.
I don’t care one whit for Romney; I find him repulsive. To me, he seems more like one of those from the “in” crowd that you describe. He doesn’t like Trump because Trump isn’t an insider like him.
I’d like to see an audit of every penny we’ve sent to ukraine since the break up of the soviet union. It appears they have turned it into a way to tap into us federal budget money.
