More than 20 years ago, when President Bill Clinton was being impeached for lying to a grand jury then as now a documented fact that no one can credibly dispute some Democrats who today want to impeach and have the Senate remove President Donald Trump from office ASAP, were whistling a very different tune.
Back then they strongly argued: 1) There was no bipartisan consensus. 2) An impeachment would be traumatic for the country and distract Congress from solving major domestic and foreign policy problems.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi: We are here today because the Republicans in the House are paralyzed with hatred of President Clinton. And until the Republicans free themselves of this hatred, our country will suffer.

Former Vice President Joe Biden (then a U.S. senator): It is our constitutional duty to give the president the benefit of the doubt on the facts "
(Quoting Brett Kavanaugh !!!)Brett Kavanaugh, who was associate independent counsel in Ken Starrs office for three years, put this argument most succinctly in a recent article he published in the Georgetown Law Journal: The President is not simply another individual. He is unique. He is the embodiment of the federal government and the head of a political party. If he is to be removed, the entire government likely would suffer, [and] the military or economic consequences to the nation could be severe
(Also Biden) To remove a president is to decapitate another branch and to undermine the independence necessary for it to fulfill its constitutional role
To remove a duly-elected president clashes with democratic principles in a way that simply has no constitutional parallel

“If it weren’t for double standards Democrats would have no standards at all.” - Chris Plante
Guess who.
For one branch to remove the head of a co-equal branch unavoidably harms our constitutional structure The country is not well served when either policy disagreements or personal animosities drive the process ”
Benjamin Franklin called impeachment, a substitute for assassination ”
Well, for the last 3.5 years, Congress has had no interest in solving any domestic or foreign policy programs. They are 100% Impeachment 24/7/365. No distractions.
Well, the party of dimwit is forever in “do as i say, not as i do” mode.
One thing that never gets mentioned, even in the face of the Democrat hypocrisy, is that Bill Clinton actually committed a crime. Why are the Republicans such as Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham, etc., who are showing these tapes not bringing out that true fact? The Democrats were making these comments with the full knowledge that Bill Clinton wasn’t just being impeached for political purposes - like is happening to Trump -but because he was a criminal.
It’s a good thing that they aren’t in charge of anything important, like health care.

Let’s put government in charge of this and that. But then what happens when government starts throwing a temper tantrum, because you didn’t give it what it wants?
And then they start stamping their feet and turning of your health care, because OrangeManBad.
I really hope people observe this and understand what type of people these ones are.
Yep, the seriousness of the charges vs no charge is serious enough.
Meanwhile their candidates are doing their best to imitate Nicholson’s Joker: free money, who do you trust? hubba hubba hubba free money
All Bob’s Money: https://youtube.com/watch?v=enTEvon9pbw
There’’s a youtube video showing a bunch of them passionately saying these things in the past.
I hope the president will have these on 3x5 cards in the debates....No limit to the hypocrisy of these demonrats.
Nancy says this makes her SAD!
