Wells Fargo is notorious for this kind of thing. Sign you up for things without your permission. Then start charging you for it. So before Salgak answers, I’m putting five bucks on Wells Fargo.

I am better it was a card offer through some “vanity” organization.

I used to manage call centers for a top 20 bank. I knew what Wells Fargo was doing about 10 seconds after I read it for the first time. MOST banks have procedures in place to avoid that crap—and nip it in the bud.

This sounds like an overseas (China/India) operation.
