Anyone own this gun with real-world experience to comment?

I switched from the Glock 43 to the P365 last year. Very nice CC piece. More capacity and more comfortable, for me anyway, than the 43.

I have no complaints regarding the sig trigger on mine.

Rented one. Accurate, great sights, great ergonomics. Highly recommended.

I didn’t buy it because the process of choosing inclined me to DA/SAs.

I switched from a G43 to the P365 for EDC about 6 months ago. I’ve put several hundred rounds through it and it continues to impress me. I just had to re-qualify for my annual HR218 certification and I shot a possible without breaking a sweat. Great gun!

Handled and shot one. Good gun. Better trigger than expected and a bore-line very close to that of the similar sized Glock or Shield (preferred small gun).

The 10 rnd mag is nice, though with an “EMP” baseplate, the 7 round Shield mag goes to 9 and still fits in the pocket of a pair of 5.11 trousers. Not sure about the “+1” though. Find it less useful for days going from condition 1 to admin 3 and back (extra round rattling around). For matches or potential/known social intercourse, the +1 would be likely.

The 365 does not suffer the revolver boreline of revolvers, has a better trigger than any Sig personally encountered, and would be a good add to anyone needing a pocket backup.

Very pleased with mine. Only plastic gun I’ve ever liked. Has very low perceived recoil. Actually like the trigger, but I’m a long time revolver guy.

I own one and love it. It is the same size as Glock 42/43 but has 12+1 capability. In this, it replaced my Glock 42 and Sig Sauer P320SC. The P365 is my single concealed carry. I can easily shoot accurate to 30+ feet. In pressured situations, 15-21 feet is simple. I've never had any problem with the pistol. I recently added the Hogue grip, but it is otherwise unchanged from when I first took it out of the box. I highly recommend it and know around half-a-dozen people that have bought one, all like it. I regularly see other shooters at my range using P365 and all report similar experiences.

I have seen the new P365XL and read about the P365SAS, but am not interested. Maybe the latter, but I am quite happy with my P365.

I have one. Great little gun.
And that is from someone who does not like plastic guns generally.

Here is why I haven't bought one:

I bought the Ruger EC9 for $200 new. What does the Sig give me? 10 rounds versus 7. Is that worth another $500 to me?

For me, no. I often carry a 5-shot J-frame so I obviously don't care very much for extra rounds. Apart from an active shooter scenario, my self-defense gun is a "get off me" gun. I don't sweat larger capacity so I don't need to spend another $500 to replicate a gun I already have - except for 10 rounds instead of 7.

Other people, other threat environments - I'm retired & semi-rural - may value the extra rounds. My standard "Go to church" gun, which is more of the active shooter scenario, is a Glock 27. Since I like DA/SA, I may buy a Bersa Thunder UC for my church gun. 10 rounds of 40 S&W with a DA/SA trigger. It is wider than a Sig 365 and a little longer and taller, but it gives me things I don't have in a J-frame or EC9 or Glock 27.

I’m getting one. I shot my son’s at a range in Texas recently. While not the best pistol shot, after a few test rounds to get use to it, I was in the black every time at 7 yards. The trigger is great for a gun this size and the sights are just amazing! His had no thumb safety, so as an old 1911 guy I’m waiting for one of the newer ones with the safety.

I own about a dozen Sigs and I’ve had a 365 since the first shipment arrived at my local gun store. For a CC gun, I don’t really have a problem with the trigger. It’s not the best I’ve ever shot, but it certainly isn’t the worst either.

My wife picked one up a month or so ago. I have not fired it yet (Still honing my skills with a .45 XDS). She is down right surgical with the P365. She has a glock daily carry but wants to slowly migrate over to the 365 for daily.
