Forbes Publishes Letter to Zuckerberg: Call Your New Cryptocurrency 'The Mark' Instead of Libra
nteb ^ | 10/24/19 | Geoffrey Grider

Dear Mr. Zuckerberg. Your company made big headlines when it announced it would be launching a cryptocurrency called the Libra in 2020. Not surprisingly, given the nature of the times, the project has been greeted with intense criticism and skepticism. Don’t lose heart. In one sense, the idea of a company creating its own kind of money is an old one. The airlines’ frequent-flier miles are really a form of money that customers can earn and use to buy trips and various other things. Credit card companies, hotels and numerous retailers have all sorts of loyalty programs in which people earn points that will let them buy all manner of goodies.

BUT IF YOU PLAY YOUR CARDS RIGHT WITH THE LIBRA, YOU COULD BE TO MONEY AND FINANCE WHAT HENRY FORD WAS TO AUTOMOBILES. YOUR NEW CURRENCY COULD TAKE ITS PLACE ALONGSIDE THE INVENTIONS OF COINS AND PAPER MONEY MANY CENTURIES AGO. IT COULD REPLACE THE U.S. DOLLAR AS THE GLOBAL CURRENCY.

In one crucial area you’re already light years ahead of virtually all other cryptocurrencies: You realize the fundamental importance of a currency that’s stable in value. Money measures value the way a scale measures weight or a clock measures time. Most cryptos–whose values fluctuate violently from one moment to the next–are great as speculative vehicles, but they’re useless as real money. No one in his right mind would write a contract longer than 24 hours in bitcoin. With cryptocurrencies, it’s steak one day and dog food the next. But if you can invent a truly stable cryptocurrency that can actually be used for day-to-day transactions and for longer-term contracts and investment vehicles, you’ll be a winner.

End Times Ping.

PM me if you wish to be added/removed.

Actually very interesting timing considering Zuck thinks highly of Augustus Caesar, and his cryptocurrency has all the hallmarks of being accepted worldwide whenever the next cataclysmic event happens economically.

Revelation 13:16-17
16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:

17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

But what happens when FakeBook decides that you are wrong-thinking so they not only deplatform you, they also take all your money back.

A stable Cryptocurrency will change the world... AND destroy people like George Soros - and anyone else who makes money on currency fluctuation... AND it'll stop wealth concentrations in ways Bernie and Warren can only dream of...

While I’m intrigued by the idea of the Cryptocurrency I will have no part of one put out by a company that prides itself on their social justice mores. With dollars I can buy heroin, guns even prostitutes. It is not a stretch to see Facebook denying your purchases according to their social whims.

My bank (and yours) have been using cryptocurrency for years.

Don’t expect Mark’s scheme to escape IRS fingers.

Ebay probably has closed my Paypal account.

This one move will change the equation between ‘the people’ and ‘the state’ forever. It’s Biblical in scope - right out of the Book of Revelation... your ability to buy or sell can now be ‘turned off’...

Few ideas come with such large up-sides ... and down-sides...it’s a game changer.

“currency fluctuation”

I’m finally writing up my new global trading rules proposal designed in part to help stabilize currencies.

I believe in financially balanced trade.

Treasury, not the Fed (which is NOT federal), will issue US cybergold as US currency backed by gold allowing Americans and users the convenience of electronic transactions while at the same time maintaining gold and silver backed US notes in legal tender paper for those that do not want to or are not able to use electronic US cybergold.

Zuckerberg can play with his Mark all he wants but it will not be and won’t be allowed to be gold-backed which means it’s play money and will be worth as much.

A crypto currency backed by gold?

If this is US crypto currency backed by gold, is that currency then on the gold standard? But we abandoned the gold standard, didn’t we? This could be a step back to a good standard, of having American money backed by precious metals????

And there will be a crypto social credit system that goes along with it.

Your account can be zeroed out any time you don’t measure up.

Calling it ‘cyber’ currency versus crypto but it will be similarly driven by secure blockchain technology maintained by the US Treasury and valued on the gold standard.

Gold has no real survival value, we can’t eat it and it won’t heat our homes. But it’s a great reference point.

The US Treasury will also have the parallel US Notes that are gold and silver backed so there will never be a danger of some progressive disease ideology talking the WH and punishing people electronically by some asinine social credit system. Paper cash will still work.

Cybergold for convenience.
US Note paper bills pegged to gold for independence.
