Trump Makes Ed his B***h
Second City Cop blog ^ | October 29, 2019 | a Windy City Cop

This was amusing, amazing and just an all around joy to watch:

In a speech to police chiefs from across the country, President Donald Trump on Monday criticized Chicago Police Supt. Eddie Johnson for skipping the event, saying “more than anyone else, this person should be here, because maybe he could learn something.”

Johnson last week said he would not attend the president’s speech at the International Association of Chiefs of Police conference at McCormick Place, “because the values of the people of Chicago are more important than anything that he would have to say.”

“That’s a very insulting statement after all I’ve done for the police, and I’ve done more than any other president’s ever done for the police,” Trump said. “Here’s a man that could not bother to show up for a meeting of police chiefs, the most respected people in the country, in his hometown, and with the president of the United States, and you know why. It’s because he’s not doing his job.”

You know, this is exactly why Groot kept Special Ed around - it's hard to buy this sort of blind loyalty.

Special Ed obviously has something to lose - either the Lieutenant Cheating Scandal or his son being eligible for the Sergeants Exam or maybe another spare kidney somewhere. By all reports, Groot has seen the tape and knows exactly what Ed did...and it ain't pretty. But she needed someone to step up and be her b***h, and Ed did it.

Does everyone know who greeted Trump at the airport? It wasn't the governor. It wasn't the mayor. It wasn't a Republican congress person, aldercreature or committee person.

It was the FOP 7 Lodge President.

While that is a great optic for the police, it speaks volumes about what all-around b***hes democrats are. And all-around followers - not a leader among them all.

The FOP 7 lodge president greeted President Trump at the airport?!

The current President is Kevin W. Graham, and the lodge is the collective bargaining agent and union for 8,202 Chicago police.

If you read between the lines, one might sense a certain lack of respect for the Chicago Chief of Police.

Special Ed’s effectiveness as a police leader is reflected in the numbers here:

Which are horrifying.

For those uninitiated in Chicago-speak, “Groot” is Lori Lightfoot, dimwit mayor of the city.

Superintendent Johnson (the recipient of Trump’s scorn) was found just last week slumped over the wheel of his car at a stop sign late at night. He blamed his blackout on ‘new blood pressure medication’. He was heading home from a party and admitted to an few drinks’.

The word on the street is that bodycam video of the subsequent encounter with his own officers is being used to twist him amongst the political class; word is that the Union has seen to it that copies of the video fall into friendly media hands as well. Two side using the chief’s plight to their own ends.

When that video is released, played against Trump’s speech and video of the crime in the city, it ain’t gonna be pretty.

Do you have any idea when this will be released or is it going to be used to keep him marching to Groot’s drum?

For the year so far, 2338 people shot within the city limits....20-percent of them dead.

Why would anyone continue to stay or live there? You are simply living on the odds that you can survive each day with your family members, and not be a statistic within the city. I’d be packing up the family and moving beyond the state borders.

Chicago, San Fransisco, LA, fine examples of liberal utopia.

“It wasn’t a Republican congress person,”

The entire Illinois Republican delegation is composed of corrupt nutless cowards. Adam Kinzinger is one of the worst of them.

Here’s the thing....every election cycle...the city council idiots and Mayors running, will go and beg for re-election and their chief solution is to hire more police. So you hire 100 more police. Four years pass....crime continues on and shootings continue upward.

The problem is that you aren’t connecting to the judges or the prosecutors. You need to terminate these folks from their jobs, and just hire people to put thugs in jail for extended periods. Any act where a gun or knife was used in a threatening way....no choices upon the judge...the guy goes to jail for a minimum of 15 years. Committing a criminal act with a gun in your possession but no one harmed, 15 years added automatically.

You got that right!

Sad that this guy is a fellow Air Force vet! I would’ve expected more!

Nobody is asking why he wasn't given a breathalyzer then arrested for DUI......

Rumor has it that the body cam footage of the incident is already in the wild. Groot has seen it, apparently.

My money says Special Ed is gone Friday. For “health reasons”, of course.

Until the vermin in office are ousted, no good change will occur.

laws can be passed, they will be selectively enforced, or like in CA, the gov will decree that they need to be let out of jail, have rights restored, and get to vote!

The problem is THEM!

They are the law breakers, the reason and the cause of all the sewage.

Lamp posts are not only for holding up lamps.

The problem becomes more severe when a majority of voters work for the state in some capacity, and get to vote in goodies, if only they support the criminals in office for another 2-4 years.

Any of these cities could be cleaned up promptly if the mayors and pd chiefs went after perps regardless of sex, skin color or political affiliation, and locked them up without time off for any behavior, good or bad.

Hiring more police is worthless if it just results in more "catch and release" activity.

They should REDUCE the number of police, and use the money saved to get more court facilities and prison space, then have a policy that career criminals (defined as somebody with more than 10 violent crime arrests) do not get plea bargains. They go to trial and the maximum sentence is sought.

Additionally, if a career criminal is killed, and there is ANY plausible way to see the killing as self-defense, then no prosecution will occur.

For a sec I thought the headline was referring to PDJT vs. Special Ed Schultz, until I remembered that Special Ed did the world a favor by dropping stone dead last year. *sigh* Well, maybe Trump can goad that fat, never-was, Barney Rubble lookalike Bernie Ward out of his pile of dog-eared Blue Boy magazines long enough to joust with him. After all, there’s nothing like a good fight with a has-been San Fran radio mouthpiece that can spit Leftist venom when the mouth is actually free of a piece.

Not sure if there is friendly media in Chicago. The only reason the video would see air time is if Mayor Groot wanted Johnson gone.

It seems that Hank Voight and his team are the only ones getting any police work done in the mean streets of Chicago.
