Wednesday brought the distrubing and sad news that wildfires were threatening the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Southern California. Well, it was sad news to most people. But that didn’t stop a few prominent liberals in and out of the media from either gloating or blaming conservative inaction on global warming.
Philadelphia Inquirer columnist and occasional CNN guest Will Bunch used the dangerous fire as an opportunity to hype his anti-Reagan book and to tout this as a what-goes-around-comes-around type situation:

How do they explain the fact, that California has always been prone to these brush fires, and that these fires happened long before global warming became a popular liberal cause????

And yet the fires spared the Reagan Library, because they had the common sense that the Government of California didn’t - they cut back the brush around the property.
In other words, hate-filled Libs get hooped again - seems to be a common occurrence in the Trump Years

They don’t understand that God forbid if it did burn it would be redone TWICE as good and they don’t understand AT ALL that Ronald Reagan lives in our hearts and that’s MUCH more important a place to be than any building.
Since they don’t have hearts, they could never understand.
From what I saw, God came down and pushed the fire around the Museum. The Proggies have nothing to celebrate.

It may sadden the haters to learn that the fire missed the Reagan Library and all is well.
Listening to the Weather Channel coverage today of the fire around the Reagan Library was brutal. I don’t know where they hire their reporters from but they need to change immediately. The one guy reporting pretty much before 1 pm said, “They’re dropping helicopters on the fire” and even, “It’s a library so it must be full of books.” When he left the room, they put the women on and if possible, they were worse with the sing-song reporting and I had to turn it off permanently then.

Thank goodness. It would have been terrible and such a loss to see it engulfed in flames. As it was, it looked like it was pretty much surrounded by the fire. I know there are worse things that can happen but it really would have been very sad and very bad IMO! We went there before Air Force One was put on exhibit there and I always wanted to go back before we moved away from CA but we didn’t make it. A world of difference in the setting around that Library and the Nixon one in Whittier that had beautiful gardens and fountains...too much wild brush around the Reagan one.
