I’m sure the older FReepers here will love it :)
I’m 51 and Disturbed is rough on me :)
It’s good to have young blood here though.
Like we all were back in ‘98 :(
Not one of my favorite styles, but I’ve heard similar.
It reminds me of Black Sabbath, New York Dolls and early Iggy Pop.
I’m not into Disturbs music, but their cover of Sounds of Silence is hauntingly beautiful.
The edited version. Not sure how the unedited one would go over here.
I saw them in Hershey on October 5th. It was the fifth last city and Dave Draiman’s voice was shot.
But it’s the third time seeing them and I’m never disappointed.
I checked the family tree of this song, and as I suspected this was a close cousin.
Drowning Pool.
Let The Bodies Hit The Floor.

Every time I watch Disturbed, I wonder what’s involved with his ‘snake bite’ piercings and could I pull them off, myself.
Love blasting that on the Harley.
From the comments on the video:
Doctor: “Say ahh”
you: “ OW AH AH AH AH”
Doctor: “It appears you are down with the sickness”
It amazes me looking back, that this got mainstream airplay. There was a lot more variety up to about the early 2000’s then it all went down the tubes along about ‘07, but then again so did just about everything else.
I have several classically trained musicians among my friends, and they invariably observe that most metal is at base classically organized, and that most metal artists are classically trained themselves.
You did it perfectly.
They own that song, now.
Their angry version befits it far better than S&G’s whiny, helpless version, IMO.
It. Is. Epic.
You’re right. I see why they call themselves “Disturbed”
This is classic something, but I have no idea classic what.
Im 2 years older than you and would love to see them live.
They also did a video using the same version of this song as a 911 tribute.
