There was never really an impeachment inquiry. It was a diversion and a coverup from the beginning to preempt the inevitable revelations from the DOJ that are imminent.

I still have my doubts that Obama was in the loop on this. I think the Deep State was running things from the start and Obama was just a front man, a prop, who could talk in empty platitudes, read from the teleprompter, and would do what they ask him to do without asking questions. He had been groomed for this roll his entire career but was not devious or creative enough to plan the details. The firewall was Susan Rice. She knows where the bodies are buried and kept the boss in the dark to maintain plausible deniability. White House briefing documents from Durham may prove me wrong but I’m skeptical.

When Susan Rice wrote the CYA email to herself on the last day in the WH that the Obama Administration did everything “by the book” regarding the illegal spying on Trump she may have been having a last laugh on everyone. The “book” wasn’t the “US Criminal Codes” it was “Rules for Radicals” by Saul Alinsky.

I've said that a few times here on FR and on other discussion forums. So, I agree with you.

When it comes to Obama, well, he had to know everything happening within the deep-state, even if he wasn't the brains behind it. He had better be informed or he would come across as totally informed and out of the loop and like a dunce, when questioned on foreign policy. He knew what was going on, but was also instructed on how to keep matters hidden, and how to be defensive on such matters if they came up in press briefings.
