It looked to me like both robbers got away.
Maybe one was shot and died later.

He should have had the gun in a holster instead of a drawer.

He was gut-shot and bleeding out. He just didn’t know it yet.

Good shoot. The robber was a deadly threat as long as he was in the store.

That’s why you should only use Glazier ammo.

Kasprowicz eventually was able to grab his own gun, which he fired after the crook shot holes in the ceiling and into a sunglasses case, according to KTVU.

Kasprowicz struck his assailant, who ran outside and collapsed half a block away, the report said. The perp died of his injuries Sunday night.

Disappointing that there’s no video evidence of the fatality for the perp. Loved how the manager picked up the piece and went out the door after the bastards.

The guy at the very end asking if he was okay grabbed the gun and took off.

Yeah, getting shot can result in a rapid change in one's scheme of priorities.

The 2 robbers ran out and the “good samaritan” took his gun.

My takeaway on the video is the importance of sitational awareness, and how these little convenience stores, by their visual complexity, hide criminals.

There's a great scene in Stephen King's The Stand, in which (in the apocalyptic post-mass-plague-death America) two of the good guys approach a roadblock manned by some bad guys.

One of the good guys is an elderly doctor who suffers from severe arthritis.

During the altercation at the road block, the doctor is shot in the stomach. As he lies dying, he realizes that he no longer feels any arthritis pain, which he endured for years.

In his last thought on Earth, he's thinking "I could make medical history, get published in The Lancet. A gunshot wound cures arthritis."

That was the sort of writing that made me love Stephen King when I was in my 20s, back in the 1970s.

You’d think 2 masked hoodies would have alerted the clerk to be prepared.

Look again, in clear view of the clerk the two suspects walk in, one with a full hood the other with 90 percent of his face/head covered by a hood or scarf type affair. The clerk paid them little if any attention when it should have set off 3 alarms in his head.

I looked, several times. The clerk was in his own private Idaho.
