The UN is broke folks. They can barely keep the lights on since Trump cut the funding. Second the UN does not hire troops the member States provide them. This sounds like liason type positions.
The UN only has about 90,000 troops and they are already deployed in places like Africa. They will never be here if for no other reason than they would be massacred by irate Americans.
