And the lord of the flies one.
I commented on another thread that he waited for the sun to be just right before that door opened. The speech was scheduled for 11:00 and it was around 11:30 before he came out. Brilliant
So do I. If the writers at SNL had a sense of humor they would depict that when they mock President Trump’s address this weekend.
I also love how he closed his speech and promptly turned around and strode out, flanked and followed by the military and left all the press shouting questions they’d never get an answer to.
He was NOT going to play their games.
The only mention of Trump’s speech at DU was that Trump did not look well, seemed short of breath, and I have to agree.
But no comments on the content. Cowards.
That was timed perfectly.
Bet he was up late last night.
Ladies and gentlemen...we finally have a real President
Our President looks (and sounded) very tired. Awesome speech!

Hell, if I worked half as hard as he does Id be completely exhausted.
I would be dead and I am about 10 years younger.
Amazing

Yep. And props to whoever managed the microphones so that the standard hysterical shrieks of the press were barely perceptible. At least on Fox News Chanels live coverage, that was the case.
“Remember the press putting halos all over Obummer?”
Yes, and I remember the styrofoam Greek pillars, the “Office of the President-Elect” podium, the children’s choir singing “Obama, um, um, um”. All the optics in the world couldn’t make Obama into anything other than what he is.
100% Presidential from start to finish!
I am just so proud of our President . . . strong, decisive, unafraid, and yes, compassionate. A literal shining example to the world of what America and it’s people stand for. May God continue to Bless him and all of us!
First jump out of the bag: “NO Nukes!”
Could not be plainer.
Optics, baby. These are the good ole days.
That’s just taking things too far....he’s often late in arrival and not uncoman for Presidential Speeches when in the midst of changing events........esepcially if one is using the speech as leverage on the nation spoken of. And there is often more than one speech depending on how things change or not. Thus “Iran APPEARS to be backing down”....
It’s a window with the sun shinning in. Also not uncommon.
Too bad POTUS didn’t borrow those papier mache columns from Obama’s big speech. It would’ve been the icing on the cake
