No One Likes Private Health Insurance.

There’s no denying that the healthcare system in the United States has been at the forefront of national discourse in the midst of the democratic presidential primaries. Of course, largely due to the fact that Bernie Sanders has made it his mission to draw attention to and change the fundamental brokenness of the current system. Now it should come as no surprise that calls for an overhaul of the way health insurance is provided — such as Bernie’s Medicare For All plan — have been met with staunch resistance not just from the left, but the more moderate, corporate friendly wing of the Democratic Party as well.

I've never had an issue with any for the insurance companies I have dealt with over the years. Co-pays are acceptable, annual caps on out of pocket is acceptable.

I do not need or want "free" healthcare.

No matter how bad private health insurance is, it is infinitely better than having the government run it.

I like my private insurance too. Paid for every month out of my pocket. (Retired). No deductibles, no copays and no referrals for specialists.

Private health care works. Marxist health care doesn’t

I have been with Kaiser for over twenty years. While they are a pain in the butt for small stuff they are great with the big stuff. With out going into details I have had several major health issues that they took care of with just a simple co=pay and a cap on charges.

I am happy with my coverage.

Medical “insurance” hasn’t been insurance for years.

Today, it’s simply a third party coupon discount.

I wonder if this broad would like for her 401(k) and her private retirement funds to be “socialized”.

In her case - I say the gubmint should just take all she has.

After all - they promise to pay it back. Right?

When something is “debunked” that is a crystal clear sign that the libs have no real argument against it so they claim it has been “debunked” with no valid evidence.

Nobody hates unicorns.

What an idiot Lauren is.......she should take up drinking and listen to the other drunks in order to gain some sort of an assemblage of facts before claims.

Trust me on this. She has no 401K. Retirement is the government’s responsibility for her ilk.

We have government insurance (Tricare) and it is a major hassle. The medical side is ok usually, although the "must produce a 80% improvement to be covered" is silly.

It is when you get into the medication part of it that you run into major problems.

What part of “chronic condition” is unclear to them?

When we had private insurance it was much easier.

Hear,hear!

The HMO act of 1974, sponsored by the late great Ted Kennedy, carved out an escape platform for health insurers to avoid state regulators holding them to state laws and regulations. Anyone in an HMO/PPO merely has a binding agreement which is subject to whatever the HMO decides. Read the fine print.

No “Socialist” Likes Private Health Insurance.

Now that’s factually correct.

Socialism’s main sales pitch is “get expensive things below cost” which is also the reason socialism always fails. Pricing things below the cost of energy needed to provide them is a financial short circuit that ends in an economic meltdown.
