Exactly. If people are believing the numbers China is reporting and coming to a definite conclusion-well-they haven’t been paying attention. China isn’t even on the “trust but verify” level.

It’s not the mortality that you should be concerned about. It is the contagion factor that would overwhelm the nations hospital system.

That’s part of the problem, we won’t know the full impact until it gets to a place where we can have real numbers.

China is shut down at the moment.

The population density, at “ground zero”, is high, so the spread rate has to also be high - the numbers don’t seem to be scary yet.

Seems to make sense - current spread rate is very similar to Flu and that’s in a very high density “ground zero” environment...
