Too funny. someone was raising a ruckus with loud music in our neighborhood last weekend. It wasn’t too late - about 9:30 PM and it didn’t last very long.
You should have read the complaints on social media (nextdoor.com) that came up - a string of (white), pampered, suburban, middle-age leftist women (yes, I see their political signs on their lawns) - all complaining their “rescue pets” were anxious about the noise.
No one said “my kids can’t sleep,” or anything similar.

My wife goes on about this every Independence Day and New Years Day with all the fireworks booming away outside.
I’ve told her every year since we met, I do this every year to honor our founders and to scare away evil spirits at the start of the new year and I’m not going to stop because the f***ing DOGS are “anxious.”
My GSD’s good with it, it’s the black lab who’s a nutcase. The new GSD didn’t seem to mind. So I usually nuke ‘em with a little trazodone and let the festivities proceed.
I have a rescue dog, an Australian Shepherd named Cooper. He’s a pain in the ass. I don’t GAF if he’s upset by noise. He’s a dog. He barks at every little thing anyway so I usually tune him out. I see those ppl on NextDoor too and they’re usually the bleeding heart liberals in my community.
