A precedent has been established by the Democrat leaders in Congress; so, a president needs to establish an absolute precedent for such a thing to never happen again
When the Senate acquits President Donald J. Trump of the bogus crimes fabricated by the Democrat leadership and fanned to a frenzy by the national mainstream media, one has to wonder whether such a blatant attempt to “kill the king” should be ignored. Where’s the “Justice” Democrats to demand justice that the Trump smear campaign was unjust? Where is the Southern Poverty Law Center when blatant hate has been exhibited in such a public display on national television? How could the American Civil Liberties Union be so absent in defending a citizen’s individual civil liberties? Have the organs of justice ground to a halt?
Is the Pope Catholic???

The nature of the “Trump Curse” is that Our President has a talent for
completely triggering people already consumed by evil, who suffer the
precondition of unreasoned hatred of anything that might limit the exorcise
of their evil.
That hatred gets MAGA amplified and the unhinged results so far tend to
confirm “The Trump Curse”. Lists of candidates for this effect should be
kept for scientific verification purposes.
I'm not Catholic, but the Pope doesn't appear to be Catholic either.
But what are the consequences of what the deep state and others did to President even before he was inaugurated? Yeah we got some GOPE promising to investigate blah blah and it never happens.
Who asks for investigation into Schiff and his lying about contact with WB? Getting emails, communications of all of that.
What recourse does a President have to ensure this doesn’t happen again?
They will do this again to next Republican candidate/President.
I still say they had massive amount of dirt on McCain and Romnuts to get them to throw their campaign.

The 2 party Justice system is working just fine for Dems. For the rest of US, not so much.

Agreed.But the idea that these articles could ever attract twenty Republican senators is, was, and always will be a joke. Something must be done or this will be “the new normal” of divided government.
I suggest that the Senate hold committee hearings and settle on a new Senate Rule which makes it at least somewhat difficult to get the Senate to take up an impeachment article from the House. Perhaps require a 55-vote majority in the senate before taking an article up . . .
Whereas these impeachment articles seemed to be on autopilot from the moment the Senate received them.
I was replying to the poster who asked if the (current) pope was Catholic. That’s a “no.”
