John Kerry about Shokin: "We knew that in order for Ukraine to survive and emerge victorious from the revolution, after the Maidan, they had to get rid of that prosecutor."

While campaigning for Joe Biden, the former Secretary of State openly admitted that he and others in the administration, including Obama himself, were actively involved in the firing of Ukrainian prosecutor Viktor Shokin, who at the time, was actively investigating Burisma, the company for which Hunter Biden sat on the Board.

If they don’t like what prosecutors are doing, they get rid of them.

If they don’t like the way elections are going, they get rid of them too.

I’m glad we have the Second Amendment.

Good point about his reason for including Obama.

“ALL of us in the administration” were trying to get rid of prosecutor Shokin, …”

Perhaps a “journalist” could ask Kerry to explain exactly why. What specifically did Shokin do that obsessed the entire Obama administration?

Fox news host Jesse Watters:
“They keep saying you know what? Everybody in Europe wanted this one prosecutor fired. I thought to myself, I wonder why that is? And I went to start looking,” Watters said, saying he found links to a Russian investment bank that gave money to Bill Clinton, a former CIA official, and a former John Kerry adviser.
“Very well-connected. Very wealthy group of individuals. And they wanted to get the word out to their friends that this guy was a corrupt investigator and he needed to be fired,” Watters alleged.

The guy installed as an AG after Shokin removal was an electronic engineer with zero legal training at all.
What made it possible?
It is great to have a yes man at such a position. Especially a yes man who have no idea what he is doing.
