Recently got a Tarus G2C 9mm. 12 round magazine capacity, fits very comfortably in my front pants pocket. The best popgun is the one you have on you when you need it.

Springfield XDS in .45.
I carry the same. I liked it better before the factory recall for the trigger. But it is still a great little gun that makes big holes!

My next handgun purchase. It will be my first 9mm.

Ive looked at that and it looks good. Also looked at P2022 for the SA/DA.

P2022 is the same size as the P226, a little too big for CC.

On the other hand my Ruger GP100 will take loads that would turn my S&W Model 19 into a hand grenade.
With Ruger autoloaders test the triggers on several before you buy. I got nice triggers on both my P90 and P95. Both eat any type of ammo without a hitch.

I also have a P85 my brother in law gave me but its a hand cannon. Mr.GG2 shoots it sometimes. We keep it for a backup.

Mr. GG2 carried an XDS in 9mm and loved it. He just traded into an XDE in 9mm and carries an XDM in .40 in his truck.

Yup, not small. But a double stack will do that. On the flip side the size makes the recoil small. So easy to stay on target. I used my P95 to get my TX CC. The instructors were impressed with my qualification. I was an Army MP and a decent shot with a pistol (.45, Barretta), plus my own guns. If I had to pick one where I had to make a shot. It would by my P95. But that is me, and confidence in your weapon is a big piece of the puzzle.

I really like mine as well. One of my go-to guns for concealed carry these days.
