I was laid off yesterday as part of a 12% workforce reduction. Please pray for me and my family - and the same for my former coworkers.
Prayers up that this lay off turns into a blessing with a new and better job!

In the construction business they push wheelbarrows until they increase their skill levels.
On a serious note, there are many jobs available these days.
My take is if you can get a job for doing something similar at a 25% cut in pay, take it. You will get income back in a couple of years.
Prayers for you to find suitable work as soon as possible (and your laid-off coworkers, too).
What I found is that entry level pay is lowish, but with two year experience, the jobs and pay increase quickly.
At least in Southern California.
Prayers lifting, for you and your co-workers to find that this difficult change, eventually starts you each on a better path in your lives.

God bless you, my FRiend. I’ve had a few careers and been through numerous layoffs. It’s always stressful, but know you’ll get through it and be better off in the long run. Have faith in God and he’ll take care of you.
