The Second Amendment Sanctuary movement continued to gain steam in Michigan in the past week, with Allegan, Charlevoix and Livingston counties all passing resolutions to declare they will not enforce any unconstitutional firearms laws.
Allegan County's resolution sought to codify board support for the Sheriff and prosecuting attorney in exercising their sound discretion to not enforce against any citizen an unconstitutional firearm law.
Protection of Second Amendment rights also advanced at the state level this week. The Michigan House of Representatives passed a resolution Wednesday, stating it would not pass any laws that could infringe on the Second Amendment.

“Naysayers will point out that the House resolution is meaningless...”

At some point patriots have NOTHING TO LOSE.
Without a color key the map is useless. Are the sanctuary counties the yellow ones or the white ones?
2A counties in Illinois are multiplying at a rapid rate, too. Thank goodness. Now I know where to go if I wind up having to stay in Illinois.
I really need to move back to Michigan. I moved to Maryland for a job ten years ago. What a stinking zoo this place is.
I can’t even count the number of gun control bills this year and of course, not one is aimed at criminals
Now is a good time to be job shopping...
I agree but I really enjoy my job and I also said yes to taking on a regional ministry leadership role that keeps me here for a while.
Santuary county titles in MD are created only for illegals, welfare, racism, and political corruption...
Yellow Ones are 2nd amendment sanctuary counties.
Thanks. Thought so at first, but did not realize my county had gone that way. This is great news!
We all make choices.
I hope all goes well with you and yours.
