If it’s not a “suicide,” it’s some unfortunate “accident,” like the plane crash that claimed the life of Loretta Fuddy, Hawaiian health official who verified the authenticity of President Obama's birth certificate and authorized the release of information about it. She became a prime target of investigation after that, and that couldn’t be allowed.
Interestingly, she was the lone fatality out of eight passengers.

Others that knew Phil Haney also assert he would not have killed himself. He was working on a new book, planning to get married again and was a good Christian.
Gohmert, Steve King (stated on the House floor), John Haller.
This was his "whistle-blowing":
Back in June of 2016, Haney acted as a whistleblower, testifying before the Senate Judiciary Committee about Obama’s DHS. He testified that he was forced by the government to delete a trove of documents on people connected to Islamic terrorism.
