It was an awful article. It had all the failings of current “journalism” in our country: mischaracterized quotes, unidentified sources, descriptions of meetings with the President by people not present at those meetings, and descriptions of alleged warnings by unspecified intelligence agencies that were ominous but so general as to be almost meaningless. It was propaganda peddled without shame.
in other words, garbage, like all the other WaPo articles.
