Wow just look at the traffic. Lots of folks just going to Hawaii for some sun and fun....

Actually thats pretty quiet
How many of those are cargo flights?
I’m trying to keep my regular schedule while I’m working from home (up at 5:30, get my makeup on, dress, but instead of going to the office I either go grocery shopping or just sit in the parking lot with my Bible and a cup of coffee). There are a TON of cars out there! I suspect a lot of people are doing what I’m doing.
Whoa! This is an awesome link! Thank you!
Its fun to zoom in and click on individual planes and see the aircraft and flight info.
Some of these suckers move faster than I would have imagined when viewed on a map.
I saw a 737 that should have been going over on the map and went outside and the cloudcover was fairly heavy but I heard the sound of a commercial jet in the correct direction.
Definitely bookmarked
What State are you in?
I have noticed since this lockdown began that sun is covered every day.
Have you had any sunny days since the National Emergency began?
Just an observation.
On clear days I have used this one, and yes it is spot on.
You will have to zoom in.
Louisiana ...Bright sun with passing clouds and in the mid 80’s
I hope tourists coming to Hawaii enjoy their 14 day quarantine and then the closed down islands and beaches.
Stay home, we are enjoying the lack of traffic and tourists.
Ohio, and we were sunny where I am most of the morning.
I am pulling for a unseasonable hot temperatures ASAP, for various reasons, but it’s not realistic. Our springs tend to be on the mild and wet side.
I checked the United Airlines flight status app, and saw that most (9 out of 10) of the flights to and from Hawaii are flying virtually empty. The 10th one was only a quarter full at best. And they are now starting to cancel flights.
Do you find flightaware to be more accurate than this Flightradar24?
I suspect that they are both pulling data from the same location, probably the FAA
Here is the Ocean traffic:

They are all cargo flights carrying face masks and ventilators.
Headed to Molokai?
DOJ242 is a DOJ Prisoner and Alien Transport with no listed destination flyin out Phoenix going east past Duncan AZ carrying away Illiegals. Wave to them.
Typically at my location in New Jersey at any given moment I could point to 4-6 planes overhead in the sky. Now maybe there’s one that flies over every 15 minutes.
One thing I have noticed since the slowdown, lots of birds flying at very high altitudes, like just below the clouds. I guess with the fewer planes they are less scared to higher.
No one is staying home.
The flight info comes from a network of private ADSB data receivers. There is a delay on the web position info from actual. I built some home brew antennas and with a USB SDR reciever, track them locally with real-time position.
