Was Woodrow Wilson a great wartime leader or a globalist disaster?

Wilson was our worst president and probably one of the worst leaders in the history of the world. When he ran for president he promised Americans that he would keep us out of the European war. A month after he was inaugurated he asked Congress to declare war on Germany. That was not Nazi Germany. If the U.S. stayed out of WW I and Germany won there would have been no WWII, Hitler, Nazis, holocaust etc.

I must take gentle issue with your list there.

If George W. Bush isn’t the worst president in U.S. history, he’s certainly in the top two. We will pay for his errors for generations. In particular, Bush’s unnecessary invasion of Iraq:

1. Wasted blood and treasure.
2. Took our focus off of Afghanistan. End result? We will lose Afghanistan just like we lost Vietnam.
3. Allowed the Syrian civil war to happen - Saddam would have stopped that war cold. And don’t forget, one result of the Syrian civil war was the mass Muslim immigration into Europe.

I am ashamed that I voted for W back in 2000 (I went third-party in 2004). If I had known back in 2000 what I know now, I would have voted for Gore. He couldn’t have done any worse.

Yeah, sorry. He totally destroyed our economy for those Depression years.

Britain should have allied with Germany, not France.

What was so great about France anyway, they and Britain were traditional enemies, and Britain and German had more common cultural ties?

And screw Belgium, they deserved everything they got for what they did in The Congo.

Despite bitter enemies, I suspect Hitler and Stalin get along just fine in Hell. They greatly admired each other despite being enemies.

I hear you, bro. As an idiot, I recall that I was on the streets holding a pro-Bush sign during the hanging chad recount.

In retrospect, I was completely deluded. Now I am much more cynical about the establishment GOP. I hate them with a passion.

Don’t forget his great advisor and friend Colonel House. He was a big part of the problem.

Wilson was the equivalent of Joe Biden’s first term.

Wilson was one of our very worst presidents in all of history.

Like Obama, he was also a college professor before winning the WH. I think Wilson and Obama are neck and neck for the worst ever.

Even Joe couldn’t do as much damage as Wilson did.

I would have to add Clinton, Bush 1, Bush 2

Don't forget Nixon. His love affair with china fathered the reason for the mess we are in today.

“Worst President, Ever.”

...hard to top Obama in that category.

Shortly after W’s invasion of Iraq, I read an article in a magazine that compared the Iraq invasion to Hitler’s invasion of Poland. Hitler wanted to invade Poland, so he found a reason to do so. W wanted to invade Iraq, so he found a reason to do so.

W is no Hitler, to be sure. But I think the premise of that article is sound.

Don't forget Nixon.

Yes! And besides China, Nixon initiated this world-wide, unbacked, fraudulent fiat currency plague, by delinking the USD from gold, along with setting up the financial structures to manipulate the price of gold down, still operating even to this day.
