As long as I can remember conservatives are called NAZIs, fascists.
That’s saying at least 40 years. Trust me, it’s much older than Bush.
I would say it goes back to the 1960s at least. They may have thought it in the 1950s but it would have been a reach to say Ike was a Nazi.
It came out of the 60’s hippie/anti-war/campus riot/question authority movement. If the establishment didn’t listen to these whacko protests thne they were obviously fascists.
