You have to hand it to CNN.
Theyve managed to find the silver lining in the Wuhan coronavirus.
According to CNNs Bill Weir, theres the perception that the pandemic has helped humanity buy some time when it comes to global warming.
Tom Elliott @tomselliott CNNs @BillWeirCNN says Coronavirus has helped humanity buy some time against global warming; claims the virus came from too much deforestation

Yeah, you just had to have a world pandemic with 2,661,518 cases and 185,504 deaths officially reported according to Worldometers (which doesnt include the undercounts of places like China, Iran and North Korea), millions thrown out of work around the world and everything in chaos. But yeah, you go there.
But hey, as CNNs expert says, if we do more and keep this up for the next thirty years, it might begin to change the curve on the greenhouse gases.
You just have to have people keep dying and destroying the economy but priorities, right?
Now, the bad thing in this scenario, according to CNN, is people being freed from confinement and being able to go back to the daily activities, i.e. driving and buying cheap gas, spiking pollution. Silly people, if they would just stop driving around, we could stop all this.
Now this of course is nonsense. There would be no greater pollution than there was before the pandemic if people resumed their normal activities. And no, fifty years ago the air and water were not too foul for Americans to ignore. Earth Day was created by a leftist maniac who killed his girlfriend and shoved her body in a closet and didnt do jack about pollution. Clean Air and pollution acts preceded and came after the creation of Earth Day.
But what does a bat virus have to do with deforestation? Seems like thats just another way to shoehorn the virus into the global warming narrative while avoiding blaming China. A two-for-one deflection from sense and reality.
This is like Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) celebrating oil prices crashing, which could result in thousands being thrown out of work. What are people like this thinking?
Seriously, in the middle of a pandemic, this is insanity. Isnt the point of fighting global warming supposed to be about saving humanity? If you have to kill/destroy humanity, how does that achieve your goal?
Unless the point isnt about saving humanity, but simply about controlling humanity.
I feel better now.
Those working on 'The Green new deal' would be classified as 'Essential' just as Abortion workers are.
CO2 is not a dangerous pollutant.
It is a necessary element for life.
I had to shovel almost a foot of ‘global warming’ on my patio, driveway & front walk last week.
So, I guess all those deaths were worth it. I imagine CNN would find it splendid if we doubled down a few dozen times. Maybe we should go back to herding people into high density cities and crowded mass transit systems, and to using disease-laden reusable shopping bags, just to hasten things.
The buzz on the cutting edge of the Left has been that humanity is the Virus. That idea seems to be trending to the main stream.
Viruses thrive better in cold that hot. Global warming would be benificial.
They should really help the planet and shut down CNN.
Covid19 could’ve been let loose for this purpose.
Whether it escaped from a lab or came from grossly unsanitary practices at a meat market, neither of those has anything to do with "deforestation."
In addition, both Bloomberg and Steyer spend over a billion dollars combined on their respective presidential runs, claiming global warming was a big part of why they were motivated to run for President. Have they donated anywhere near the equivalent amount to a forestation project in Africa? A billion dollars could plant several entire large forests. That would have more environmental benefits than just any issues with so-called global warming and would be very much a worthwhile project - certainly more than a billion dollars worth of television ads. But did they do that?
They could have also gone into numerous, entire poor rural American towns and offered to fully renovate totally broken down homes and make them more energy efficient. Did they do that? No, they spent it on TV ads.
There are actual real things they could have done to greatly so-called "greenhouse gases". But no, they spent it on TV ads. Difficult to believe they are sincere.
Moron Alert!!!
Funny that @BillWeirCNN called it ‘Global Warming’, which is not PC.
The CNN Banner was reading ‘How the Pandemic is impacting Climate Change’
This is like the Al Gore criticism.
Here's youtube mini-debate about how the liberal rich say they want to pay more taxes, but don't pay more taxes now when they can.(they want ours to be raised)
Stephen Moore nukes MSNBC Chris Hayes on rich liberals wanting to pay higher taxes (7/8/12)
Hayes :"The point is that there's something called social policy, social policy is something that you want to see put into the social contract, the reason you want to put in social contract is because it has the force of coercive law,the force of coercive law is the way that we bind each other each other and to democratic governments .....(interrupted making brilliant point) "
now they have their out when the world doesn’t end in 11 more years like so many of those low info dolts said-
Insanity. Insanity that leads to death. Just wait and see.
Anyone worried about deforestation should drive across West Vagina from North to South. That’s all I got to say about that.
Global Warming is as real a danger as Peak Oil... Oh wait... never-mind.
