Not so much a mistake but the use of the wrong word such as inject as opposed to spray.
My take is that he was just kicking around ideas and concepts that came to mind.
He ought not have done so on camera, knowing how the media would react.
He’s ALLOWED to screw up but ought to have known the cameras were rolling.
