Gotta love how the Democrats went after President Donald Trump for cutting travel with China at the end of January, implying it was “racist” or “hysterical xenophobia” (the words of Joe Biden).
Now that it’s clear that was the correct move, suddenly Democrats are scrambling to reposition their comments.
Earlier in the month, Joe Biden’s campaign tried to pitch that he was always supportive of the travel restrictions, despite what he said, and despite his additional comments that he didn’t think restrictions on travel with Europe would be helpful. Dr. Anthony Fauci said both moves likely saved lives. But Biden’s campaign didn’t support it until April. Imagine if he had been president and it took that long to get action from him.
Now, as we reported earlier, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) has completely flipped as well, claiming that fascist, racist Trump didn’t go far enough.
She did an interview with CNN’s Jake Tapper and Tapped asked her about Biden now saying that he supported the China travel restrictions (although Tapper doesn’t note how late Biden was or Biden’s prior contradictory statements).

So she’s basically saying now that Trump should have left American citizens and green card holders stranded in China in the middle of a pandemic? That she would have shut the door on Americans? Yikes.
We all know if Trump had, she’d be the first to attack him for abandoning them. But Trump has made it a priority to help Americans in trouble anywhere overseas.
Of course, at the time, she was trying to claim that Trump’s actions were racist. Remember on February 24, she was encouraging people to go to visiting in Chinatown, not practicing any social distancing.
So, perhaps there’s no one better to call out Pelosi’s sudden flip than Nancy Pelosi circa Feb. 26. Listen as she talks specifically about travel restrictions and says that the President “shouldn’t use scare tactics about people coming back to our country.”

You mean like the “scare tactics” she’s trying to employ now? Does she not keep up with what she says? Or has she become Joe Biden and just doesn’t even remember what she says anymore?
Good example of why ChiCom style control of the internet is so desirable to the liberals. TO keep the Americans from proving what they remember happening.
Dems would never have shut down travel to either one. They wouldn’t want to mess up the European or Chinese economy.

Actually, Biden has a documented history. When Obama was POTUS and he was VP they ignored the Swine Flu pandemic until over 1000 Americans were dead. So you already know what he would have done, which is nothing.
Nothing she does is ever configured as a help to Americans.

Doublethink adds control that eliminates uncertainty and so the whole belief system seems coherent.
Doublethink is not hypocrisy as the person actually believes in both things, even though they contradict.

With Democrats, to remain in good standing, your number one priority must be to demonstrate how much you hate Trump. Logical meaning has no priority at all.
So, in January, Pelosi demonstrated her orthodoxy by calling Trump a racist. Now, she is claiming he has blood on his hands by allowing Americans arriving from China to enter the USA. Remarks perfectly consistent with Democrat priorities.

Nonetheless, Biden, Archer and the Rosemont name became increasingly involved with China. Archer became the vice chairman of Bohai Harvest, helping oversee some of the fund’s investments.
Troublingly, some of those investments had major implications for national security and the safety of Americans (Joe didnt give a dam---Hunter was in the money)
To seal the deal, Hunter Biden’s VP father met earlier with Chinese President Hu Jintao in Washington as part of the (cough) Nuclear Security Summit.
In December 2014, BHR became an “anchor investor” in the IPO of China General Nuclear Power Corp. (CGN), a state-owned energy company involved in the construction of nuclear reactors. In April 2016, the US Justice Department would charge CGN with stealing nuclear secrets from the United States — actions prosecutors said could cause “significant damage to our national security.”
Of particular interest to CGN were sensitive, American-made components that, according to experts, resembled components used by the US on its nuclear submarines.
