When I was around six years old they showed "The Outer Limits" on independent television from Channel 5 in Washington DC, now Fox 5. In those days we had over the air signals and in York, PA if you were high up the antenna brought in Philadelphia, Baltimore and Washington DC signals etc. etc. etc.
Right now DC 19 controls the horizontal but they are going to "restart the economy" and give us a "new normal" as they control the vertical.
We will remain under control and restriction even if business is "reopened". Limits on people in buildings like restaurants and even bars and nightclubs if they are eventually allowed to open.
Freedom should be the norm in America but Fear rules the roost.......
First They Came For The Jews
You can't help but recall German Pastor Martin Niemoller's words in connection with last night's funeral in Brooklyn, the police mixed in with Orthodox Jews and the threatening posture of Mayor Bill DeBlasio over "social distancing" under DC 19.
And frankly the uniforms and the folks with beards and so on in the video coming out of Brooklyn bring to mind the uniforms that said "SS" on them interacting with Orthodox Jews in Eastern Europe about 80 years ago.
Mayor DeBlasio has apologized but not apologized for wanting to enforce martial law restrictions.....
