An adult with COVID_19 is not OK for Foster kids! But a Pedophile is OK for Foster kids!
Taken verbatim and at face value, the headline makes logical sense to me. Even with a Government Agency doing the talking.
If a foster parent gets a severe form of this virus, they probably won’t be able to care for their foster child until full recovery. Alternatives should be considered, such as the child staying with healthy relatives temporarily, but sometimes there are no such relatives ready to step in.
Keep in mind, many foster children are in the system due to behavioral problems. Problems so severe that their real parents could not handle it. Not every foster parent is ready to take that challenge on for what may become a number of months.
