They already have public financing for journalism. It’s called the free market economy. The public finances the operation when they buy the tripe being sold. And if they mean financing through our taxpayer dollars then they already have NPR what more do they need? Anything more and it becomes a government controlled operation. Or are they trying to do what higher education did? Unions are outdated and not necessary, they should have gone away like the dodo bird.
