I read this paper, with its murky definitions and hidden assumptions, horrified that the UK would adopt it as policy, but incredulous that the US would even take it seriously. Then a couple of days later, Fauci et al bring it forth like tablets from the mountain.

Thank you for trying to kill that erroneous meme. Still, I don't get why he talks of the WH opening up commerce. It is fact that Governors shut down their own states and thus their economies.
Pres. Trump made the mistake of claiming he had the authority to close the nation. Once he realized he had no such authority, he left it up to the States. We've seen the results, especially in Blue/Democrat states.
I'm still a States' Rights advocate, but at times like this, I wish I were King of the US, and would tell these socialist Governors to go home and let my people free.
