PHOENIX — Gov. Doug Ducey on Tuesday announced Arizona’s “stay-at-home” executive order will be lifted after it expires Friday and that the state would enter the first phase of reopening.

Ducey pointed to a decrease in positive test result percentage, adequate hospital capacity and expanded testing numbers for reasons Arizona is ready to begin reopening.

“Today we get the chance to turn that dial a little bit more to the right to brighten Arizona’s economy and to bring back some of the energy that was lost due to this pandemic,” Ducey said during a press conference.

Restaurant dining areas are open, traffic is back up. We are getting back to normal. Actually, I kind of liked the light traffic, but you can’t have everything.

I left a m message for Gov. Doug Douche with one of his flying-monkeys when he first ordered the shutdown and I voicing my displeasure. I think I will call his office again to let him know that he needs to speed up lifting restrictions even faster.

I went to Chili’s last night and Sally B’s Cafe in Prescott Valley today. Every other table was taped off. Needless to say the employees are happy.

Still lots of restaurants with no dine in options yet.

Wildflower, Scramble to name a few of my favorites.

But we’re moving in the right direction - which is good.

The Prescott Valley Chamber of Commerce has a listing of dine-in services for PV on their Facebook page. Don’t know if Prescott has the same type of listings.

I did notice Bill’s Pizza decided not to do dine-in yet.

In Cochise County we have been doing everything we can to keep the economy going during the entire “shut down”. Zero deaths and less than 50 cases.

Meanwhile in Washington State, our doofus governor is starting house to house interrogations and lock downs. No end in sight as far as the lockdown. Can’t wait to move!

Try the Golden Corral on Stapley. If they are not open I bet the Raising Cane just North of that is.

Good for you! (And of course, good for them) :-)

Favorite in my area is Fish City Grill — absolutely the BEST fish and chips outside England.
